Names Board of Directors
CHICAGO, February 19, 2009 – The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the premier professional organization focused on corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions, announced today the members of the Board of Directors for 2009-2010, effective July 1, 2009.
Several existing Directors will complete their terms or assume new positions on the Board. Among the key new positions, Dennis J. White, Partner at McDermott, Will & Emery LLP in Boston, will assume the role of ACG 2009-2010 Board Chairman after serving as ACG Vice Chairman. White succeeds the 2008-2009 Chairman Harris Smith, Managing Partner of Private Equity, Grant Thornton LLP.
In addition, Michael Carr, Vice President, West Coast Buyouts Team, American Capital Strategies has been elected ACG 2009-2010 Vice Chairman and Jack P. Helms, Chairman of Lazard Middle Market, has been named the ACG InterGrowth 2011 Chair.
